Terms of business.

These terms and conditions are for your protection as well as ours.  Please read carefully.

Initial Meetings

 There is no charge made by UK Aerial Photography Ltd for the initial meeting to discuss a project.

 

Quotes for Work

 UK Aerial Photography Ltd always puts quotes in writing, which contain a total cost and breakdown of the project.  Quotes are valid for three months from the date of issue.

 

Copyright and Use

 The Licence to Use (normally the invoice) comes into effect from the date of full payment of the relevant invoice(s).   No use may be made of the photographs or video before payment in full without the express permission of UK Aerial Photography Ltd

 

Payment Terms

 Our payment terms are strictly 14 days from date of invoice.  UK Aerial Photography Ltd reserve the right to add an admin fee of £40 on late payments and an accumulative percentage as dictated under the UK government late payments scheme.

 

Health & Safety

 In all instances UK Aerial Photography Ltd will reserve the right to remove any of its personnel and/or equipment from a location if it is deemed unsafe or if they are subjected to abusive or aggressive behaviour.  In this instance the client will be liable for any costs incurred as a result of this.

 UK Aerial Photography Ltd’s delivery of services may be dependent upon obligations to comply with the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) permissions to condition aerial work.

 Furthermore, permission may be required from local Police, other authorities and relevant landowners.  All services are subject to the Client obtaining permission from landowners and legal access from to which operate our equipment.

 Certain shots from specific locations, directions and heights, may not be possible on the day for various operational reasons.  In such cases, the best possible alternative shot(s) will be supplied to fulfil the obligations under the Services, this will be discussed with the client in advance.

 

Aerial Operations

In the interest of safety and the law, when you commission our services you agree to the following statement:

“I agree as the 'Client' for UK Aerial Photography to operate Unmanned Aerial Vehicles for the purposes of commercial work under the ANO 2016. I give permission for checks to be carried out and will NOT purposefully endanger any operations being carried out by UK Aerial Photography personnel. I also understand that failure to do this or to provide false information is an offense and could also lead to injury.”

 

Bad Weather

 All outdoor location filming is dependent upon suitable weather and forecasting.  Drones operated by UK Aerial Photography Ltd cannot fly in winds exceeding the 20mph (32kph) limit set by the drone manufacturer.  The drones cannot operate in rain or any mist that limits the pilot’s line of sight with the drone.

In the event of bad weather, UK Aerial Photography Ltd reserves the right to change the date of filming to a more suitable day, UK Aerial Photography Ltd will not allow the safety of the equipment or personnel to be compromised.

 

Equipment substitution/failure

 In the unlikely event that UK Aerial Photography Ltd experiences equipment failure or difficulties, all efforts will be made to find suitable replacement equipment as soon as possible.  No further claims or liability will be accepted.

 

Clear access for filming

 If the filming venues are being organised by the Client, it is the Client’s responsibility to ensure that UK Aerial Photography Ltd has clear access to all relevant locations required throughout the day, delays in filming may incur additional charges.

 

Terminating a Contract

 A customer may terminate a contract at any time by written notice of termination.

When a customer terminates a contract, they will remain liable to pay in full for all work previously undertaken and in progress by UK Aerial Photography Ltd, unless any other written agreement is reached in advance.

 

Delivery Time

 We aim to complete your project within 5 to 28 working days from receipt.

 

Complaints procedure

 If you have a complaint with regard to our reproduction, please email us at enquiries@ukaerialphotographyltd.co.uk within 7 days of receipt of your order.  We shall investigate the situation and endeavour to rectify the problem as soon as possible to your satisfaction. 

 

UK Aerial Photography Ltd Confidential policy

We promise to respect the confidentiality of your identity and audio visual material.  We will not supply your contact information to any third party companies unless you specifically ask us to.

 

All Terms and Conditions stated within this document are deemed acceptable to the Client upon receipt of a written order.
